I Will Not Be Moved

Psalm 16:8

I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”


1. Paul was Focused On a great Prize. “I do not count my life dear to myself.”

2. Paul Endured With a Great Pertinacity. “ That I may finish my race.”

Pertinacity is a quality of sticking with something, no matter what. It’s a type of persistent determination. People who have pertinacity won’t give up, and they stick with things doggedly. Pursuing a difficult career requires pertinacity. Pertinacity is a mix of courage, conviction, and a little stubbornness.

3. Paul was Concerned With A Great Presentation. “With joy”

4. Paul Was Devoted To A Great Person. “The ministry I received from the lord Jesus.”

5. Paul Was Motivated By A Great Purpose. “ To testify to the gospel of the Grace of God.”



Enemies of the Cross of Christ

Philippians 3:17-21


These are not misguided people or misunderstood people


1. The Characteristics of the enemies.

A. They have an ungodly appetite. They crave the stuff of the world.

B. They have no shame. Things that they should be embarrassed from they applaud it.

C. They ar e worldly in their desires.

D. They have no future.

2. The Confrontation with the Enemies.

Ephesians 5:11-19

A. Have no Fellowship. Have no fellowship with satanic things or people. No gossiping. No fellowship with the works of darkness.

B. Expose them.

C. Wake up.

3. The Contemplaton...Am I an enemy of the cross? Anything that we do in opposition of Jesus we become the enemy of the cross. We have to do what the Bible says.

Ezekiel 37:1-14


1. God is still with us in the dark. A. His power and authority have gone nowhere. B. Our hope is only found in Him

C. God is wanting to heal us from the war

zone.

2. God is waiting on your response

A. He doesn’t need our answer to know what to do. He needs our answer for us to see our direction.

B. Our direction is followed with our obedience.

C. Our obedience is evident through following through with His plan.

3. God is willing when our obedience is activated.

A. We just have to move.

B. We should not be seen in our obedience, but He should be.

C. What’s impossible with us is always possible through Him.

4. God will build the army. He just needs willing army men.

5. Our only hope is found in God.

A. Our “hope” is the confidence in


Ezekiel 36:26


Five Goals For the New Year

This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24


1. Take life one day at a time.

2. Surrender to the Lordship of Christ. Everyday in 2020 the Lord made!

3. Focus on who’s in the day, not what’s in the day. Focus on God being in your day and not that coronavirus is in your day or that a bill is due today.

4. Make worship a priority. Rejoice

5. Be happy and not sad. Be glad in it.


When We Lose Sight

1 Kings 19:1-16


1. Fear will keep you from seeing through God’s eyes. Vs 3

2. When we make it about us and take our lives in our own hands, we lose the sight and power which God gives.

3. Fear will keep you from thinking logically.

Vs 4

4. We find ourselves in fear when we are exhausted and we find ourselves in exhaustion when we are in fear.

5. We must be refueled to keep going Vs. 5-8 (The Lord sent an angel to wake him to eat twice before his next journey)

6. Fear leaves us delusional and all alone.

7. Fear keeps us from hearing from God.

8. Fear not! Get back to work, get back on course.
