The Heart of a Lion: Facing Down Your Fears

​Proverbs 28:1

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

1. Remember your proud ancestry
a. Ancestry refers to a person's ethnic origin or decent, roots, or heritage, or the place of birth of the person or the person's parents.
b. Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
2. Remember the foundation for boldness is righteousness.

i. Confidence
ii. Courage
iii. Fearlessness
iv. Daring
3. Remember you have to work hard at becoming a loving lion.
a. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
